A friend recently sent me an instagram post about a doctor sharing which supplements to get rid of the “tire around the waist” belly. My friend asked if it was true. We would all like to believe that taking these supplements would fix our belly problems. But beware. First of all, the person posting, just because they’re a Dr, doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you. Remember, supplements give support, they don’t make sweeping changes. We all want a quick fix and something easy to incorporate, but those will only work if you have the basic foundations covered. Eat well. Sleep well. Stress less. Daily movement. Balanced meals. Healthy digestion. Your body will not loose healthy weight when under stress. Your body will not absorb healthy nutrients when not sleeping well. Your hormones won’t be balanced if you’re incorporating balanced meals. Your body will not flight inflammation if it’s not getting 7-9 hrs of sleep. So any supplement you take, will be useless for loosing weight until you fix all the areas in your life that need addressing.
